This elegant and magnificent wine is made 100% of the Nebbiolo grape, which is grown in the immediate vicinity of Monforte d’Alba at approximately 320 m from the sea level. The grapes are harvested at the beginning of October.

Juice is pressed from the selected grapes and the fermentation starts. The last phase of the ageing process takes place in 500/700 litre casks for about 2 years. The wine is further aged in bottles for 10 months. Its aroma is soft, richly fruity. Elegant and sophisticated overall impression, great acidity. The flavour features red fresh berries, slight smoke note. An ideal red wine for pot roasts, pork and game meat. Also for pasta with ragout sauce.
